USF's College Reach-Out Program (CROP) is accepting applications from current 8th-11th grade students for their spring and summer college prep program. This free program will provide weekday and weekend tutoring sessions at USF, career and educational counseling, college/university tours, leadership development, and exposure to the USF campus.
Eligible students must meet at least one economic and one academic criteria. Economic criteria include:
- Free/reduced lunch eligibility
- Receives public assistance
- Orphan or ward of the state
Academic criteria include:
- First generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
- Low GPA (less than 2.5)
- Low FSA/EOC scores
- More than 25 absences
- Suspended, retained, expelled, or in drop out prevention
